Logo process!

The final logo done in Illustrator consisted of the same idea as my chosen sketch. Except, while producing it in Illustrator i made it more geometric and precise. The lines on top of the Arabic letters as shown in the drawing, i decided to change to dots, which is another way of showing the accents. I did this to make the logo look more aesthetically pleasing. To give the logo a more modern look, i added a thin outline to the form of the Hookah from one side. This made it look classier and give the impression of a shadow. I changed the stroke of the lines to give it more variety of design and seperate certain parts that i thought needed to pop out more then others. I added a neutral maroon color, which is a color commonly seen in the arabic culture. I also added color to make it look more aesthetically pleasing. My aim was to make the logo look clean and and modern giving it a simple look.

Sources: I went online to research the history of Hookah's to figure out how i was going to design it and the meaning i was going to give to the logo. From the research is where most of my sketched logos derived from. An example of how i incorporated the information into my designs was my first sketch where i used the name "Argileh" which was the ancient name what we now know as Hookah or Shisha.
